Air Shower Tunnel Systems
HEPA-Filtered, Pressurised Air-Blast and Interlock Door Solutions for Cleanroom Entrances
Air shower tunnel systems are personnel decontamination solutions used at cleanroom, laboratory, hygienic production and controlled-area entrances to reduce the transfer of hair, dust, particles, soil and similar contaminants into clean areas.
With pressurised air-blast nozzles, a G3 pre-filter, H13 HEPA filter, PLC control, touchscreen, interlock door system, Magnehelic pressure gauge and stainless-steel body options, they provide safe, controlled and hygienic access at cleanroom entrances.

20 / 25 m/s Air Velocity
Adjustable stainless-steel nozzles help remove particles present on personnel.
H13 HEPA Filter
HEPA filtration passes the air used inside the air shower through high-efficiency particle filtration.
Interlock Door System
Provides controlled access by preventing the entrance and exit doors from opening at the same time.
What Is an Air Shower Tunnel?
An air shower is a filtered, high-velocity air-blast system used to reduce the particle load on personnel before they enter a cleanroom or hygienic production area. When a person enters the cabin, the doors are controlled by the interlock system and filtered air is blown from the nozzles for the set period.
It can be implemented as an air tunnel in areas with multiple personnel passages. For narrow locations, a special air shower with services positioned in the ceiling can be tailored to the project with options such as a shoe-cleaning unit, ioniser, automatic door, soft ramp and pressurised rain spray system.
Air Shower Tunnel Operating Principle
Personnel Entry
The person enters the air shower cabin and the entrance door closes.
Interlock Control
The doors are locked by the interlock system, preventing simultaneous opening.
Filtered Air Blasting
Air passing through the G3 pre-filter and H13 HEPA filter is blown at high speed through stainless-steel nozzles.
Entry into the Clean Area
Once the configured operating time is complete, the exit door opens and the person enters the clean area.
