Aluminum Separator HEPA Filter – MDF Frame
MDF frame HEPA filter provides high-efficiency final air filtration for hygienic air handling units and sensitive HVAC systems. It combines deep-pleated glass-fiber media with aluminum separators and a lightweight MDF frame. Therefore, it offers a practical solution for controlled indoor applications.
Aluminum separators keep the filter pleats evenly spaced. As a result, the airflow channels remain open and stable. The filter is available in E10, E11, E12, H13 and H14 classes. In addition, standard versions can operate at temperatures up to 80°C.

Deep-Pleat Filter with MDF Frame
First, high-quality glass-fiber media creates the deep-pleat filter pack. Aluminum separators keep each pleat apart. This design increases the usable filtration area and supports stable airflow.
Next, the MDF frame provides an economical and lightweight housing. It suits standard dry indoor filter sections. Two-component polyurethane or silicone can seal the joint between the media pack and frame.
Finally, the complete filter works as a disposable element. Do not wash or rebuild the filter media. Instead, replace the complete filter when it reaches the end of its service life.

Filter Selection Criteria
Maintenance and Replacement
First, monitor differential pressure across the filter regularly. Also inspect the media, aluminum separators, MDF frame and gasket. Look for tears, deformation, swelling or damaged sealing surfaces.
Next, compare the measured pressure with the clean-filter value. The recommended final pressure is about twice the initial value. However, it should not exceed 600 Pa. Airflow, hygiene and process requirements should also guide replacement timing.
Finally, replace the complete filter when necessary. Do not clean the glass-fiber media with water, compressed air, vacuum or mechanical methods.
Technical Application Note
Use MDF frame filters in dry and controlled indoor environments. Condensation, direct water contact, high humidity and chemical vapors may require another frame material. In addition, actual filter performance depends on airflow, pressure, leakage, dust load, temperature and humidity. Gasket compression, air distribution and instrument calibration also matter. Therefore, use complete project data for the final filter selection.
