ATEX Vacuum Cleaners
Explosion-Proof Industrial Vacuum Systems for the Safe Collection of Combustible, Conductive and Fine Dust
ATEX Vacuum Cleaners are specialised industrial vacuum systems used for the safe collection of combustible, conductive, metallic or fine dust in industrial areas where there is a risk of an explosive atmosphere.
Explosion-proof and dust-ignition-protected vacuum cleaners provide safe cleaning in sensitive production areas with conductive equipment that helps reduce the risk of static discharge, HEPA filtration, a stainless-steel body and a removable collection tank.
Explosion-Proof Use
Used to safely collect combustible and conductive dust in areas with a risk of an explosive atmosphere.
HEPA Filtration
Controls fine dust and particles with a HEPA filter rated at 99.995% efficiency at 0.3 microns.
ESD-Safe Design
Metal and static-dissipative components help reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge.
What Is an ATEX Vacuum Cleaner?
ATEX vacuum cleaners are specially protected vacuum systems designed for use in industrial areas where there is a risk of explosive atmospheres. Unlike standard industrial vacuum cleaners, they are selected with consideration for static electricity, sparks, hot surfaces and dust-ignition risk.
These systems can be used for dry dust collection in pharmaceutical production, chemical processing, metal dust, conductive dust, combustible dust, cleanroom applications and sensitive process areas. The hazardous-area classification, dust characteristics and certification requirements must be checked before application.
How ATEX Vacuum Cleaners Work
Dust CollectionCombustible, conductive or fine dust is drawn into the extraction line through conductive hoses and accessories.
ESD ControlThe static-dissipative design reduces the accumulation of electrostatic charge and the risk of discharge.
FiltrationThe main filter and HEPA filter provide controlled retention of fine particles.
Safe DisposalCollected material is removed in a controlled way using the removable collection tank and conductive polyliner bag.
