What Is an Industrial Baghouse Dust Collector?

An industrial baghouse dust collector is an industrial filtration system that captures dry dust, fumes, and particles from process air on filter bags. Contaminated air enters the filter housing, particles collect on the bag surface, and cleaned air is discharged from the system.

These systems provide reliable filtration for high-airflow, high-dust-load, and continuous processes. Bag material should be selected based on process temperature, dust properties, moisture content, chemical composition, and explosion risk.

Key Technical Features

Housing Material:
S275JR steel or alternative materials may be used depending on the process.
Filter Bags:
Ø125 mm bag construction; configurable with bag lengths from 2,500 mm to 4,500 mm.
Bag Connection:
A leak-tight snap-ring / push-fit connection design can be used for fast installation.
Filter Cleaning:
Automatic cleaning can be provided by a reverse-flow pulse-jet compressed-air cleaning system.
Dust Discharge:
Dust can be discharged through a lower hopper, collection screw conveyor, rotary valve, and Big-Bag emptying system.
Emission Level:
With the appropriate filter selection, emission levels of ≤ 10 mg/Nm³ can be targeted.
