What Is a Ceiling Type EPA Filter?
Ceiling type EPA filters are compact filters designed to provide high-efficiency particulate filtration in ventilation systems. Fine glass fiber filter media is arranged in a mini-pleat geometry. Hot-melt separators maintain consistent spacing between the pleats. As a result, the structure increases filtration surface area and supports uniform airflow across the filter.
The aluminum frame offers low weight, mechanical strength, a smooth surface and compatibility with terminal filter boxes. The connection between the filter media and frame is sealed with a two-component polyurethane compound. Furthermore, the filter can be configured with different surface protection and gasket options according to the application.

Installation and Operating Guidelines
Filter box dimensions must be compatible with the filter frame and gasket configuration.
Uniform compression must be maintained around the gasket perimeter to prevent localized leakage.
The filter should be selected according to the nominal airflow values in the table and the available system pressure capacity.
Filter replacement should be determined by measured differential pressure and process conditions, not only by operating time.
Technical Selection and Classification Note
EPA-class filters are not classified at the same level as HEPA and ULPA filters. Their use as a final-stage filter or HEPA prefilter should be determined according to clean-room classification, process risk, particle limits and validation requirements.
Filter performance may vary according to filter class, dimensions, pleat height, filtration area, nominal airflow, face velocity, installation sealing, particle loading and process conditions. Since an ISO 29463 equivalent for the E10 models is not specified in the source performance table, the final selection should be verified using the product datasheet and test documentation before ordering.
