Deep Pleated High Capacity HEPA Filter (MDF Frame)
Deep Pleated High Capacity HEPA Filter (MDF Frame) is an absolute filtration solution developed for hygienic air handling units and controlled environments that require high airflow rates.
Available with nominal airflow capacities of 2,000 m³/h and 3,000 m³/h at 610 × 610 × 292 mm, the filter uses high-quality glass fibre media, hot-melt separators and a polyurethane sealing compound. Moreover, it can be configured in E10, E11, E12, H13, H14 and U15 classes.

What Is a Deep Pleated High Capacity HEPA Filter?
Deep pleated high capacity HEPA filters are designed with a large filtration area so that they can handle higher airflow rates than conventional absolute filters. The deep pleat geometry also helps distribute the air velocity evenly across the filter media.
The MDF frame provides an economical and lightweight housing option for disposable filter applications. The connection between the glass fibre filter media and MDF frame is sealed with a polyurethane compound. Depending on the application, face protection can be installed on the clean side, dirty side or both sides.
E10, E11 and E12 belong to the EPA category, while H13 and H14 are HEPA classes. U15 belongs to the ULPA category. Therefore, the appropriate filter class should be selected according to the particulate control requirements of the process and the system validation criteria.

Maintenance and Replacement Criteria
The filter pressure drop should be monitored regularly and compared with the initial commissioning value.
The gasket surface, compression components and gaps in the filter housing should be checked during replacement.
Timely replacement of prefilters reduces the dust load and pressure increase across the HEPA filter.
The MDF-framed product is disposable and should not be cleaned and reused at the end of its service life.
The nominal airflow and initial pressure drop values shown in the tables refer to reference test conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on filter installation, test area, system static pressure, filter housing and duct leakage, airflow rate, measuring instrument calibration, dust load on the filter, temperature, relative humidity and process conditions. Therefore, filter selection should not be based only on nominal airflow. Fan capacity, total system pressure drop, prefiltration level, filter housing tightness and validation requirements should also be evaluated together.
