Flanged Ceiling-Type HEPA Filter with Gel Seal (RSR: Room-Side Replacement)
The Flanged Ceiling-Type HEPA Filter with Gel Seal is an RSR-type terminal filter solution designed to provide final-stage particle filtration in cleanroom ceiling systems while allowing filter replacement from the controlled room side.
The stainless-steel adaptive L-profile around the flange, aluminium filter frame and liquid gel sealing system provide controlled installation and sealing. H13 and H14 filter classes can be used in pharmaceutical, hospital, microelectronics, food and precision manufacturing applications.

What Is an RSR Ceiling-Type HEPA Filter?
RSR stands for “Room Side Replacement” and indicates that filter servicing can be performed from the room side. This design is used in cleanroom applications where access to the technical space above the suspended ceiling is limited or where filter replacement is planned from within the controlled area.
The filter flange and stainless-steel adaptive L-profile help mechanically secure the product to the terminal housing or suitable ceiling construction. The liquid gel seal forms a continuous sealing line when the knife-edge profile of the terminal housing engages with the gel channel.
Actual system performance may vary depending on filter class, airflow, terminal housing geometry, flange connection, gel channel condition, installation tolerances, differential pressure, prefiltration level and process conditions.

Excluding the flange, the net filter width and length are 34 mm smaller than the external product dimensions.
Using the stainless-steel adaptive L-profile, different depths such as 56, 67, 70, 79, 101, 111, 118, 126 and 151 mm can be evaluated.
Custom dimensions can be manufactured according to the terminal housing, ceiling module and project requirements.
A tolerance of ±10% may occur in differential pressure values depending on manufacturing and measurement conditions.

Inspection, Maintenance and Room-Side Replacement
The filter differential pressure should be monitored at regular intervals and recorded in operating records.
The gel surface should be free from contamination, rupture, gaps or permanent deformation that could affect sealing.
Protective equipment, area isolation and contamination-control procedures should be applied during filter replacement.
After installation of the new filter, leak testing, airflow measurements and required cleanroom checks should be repeated.
The airflow and pressure-drop values in the table are nominal product data. Actual system performance may vary depending on air density, terminal housing geometry, filter face velocity, flange connection, gel channel, installation quality, test area, aerosol used, measuring instrument, calibration status, filter loading, humidity, temperature and process conditions. Final filter selection should therefore be based on project calculations, terminal housing dimensions and validation requirements.
