High Efficiency Rigid Filter (Aluminum Frame)
High efficiency rigid filter with aluminum frame provides a large filtration area within a lightweight and durable body. It is a compact final-stage air filter for air handling units, HVAC equipment and cleanroom ventilation systems. Available efficiency classes include E10, E11, E12, H13 and H14.
Glass-fiber filter media, hot-melt separators and a two-component polyurethane sealing compound create a large effective filtration surface within compact dimensions. In addition, the aluminum frame reduces overall filter weight and makes installation and replacement easier.

Rigid Filter Construction with Aluminum Frame
High efficiency rigid filters are manufactured by securing mini-pleated glass-fiber filter packs with a large surface area inside an aluminum frame. The rigid body helps the filter pack maintain its shape under airflow and operating pressure.
Compared with conventional metal bodies, the aluminum frame offers low weight and good corrosion resistance. Therefore, it provides an advantage where filters are changed frequently, service access is limited or total filter weight is important.
Products can be supplied with standard depths of 100 or 130 mm. The nominal values in the model performance table refer to standard models with 130 mm depth and a 25 mm flange.

Filter Selection Criteria
Select E10–H14 according to the required particle-retention efficiency and clean-area classification.
Compare actual operating airflow with the nominal airflow shown in the model table.
Choose 100 or 130 mm depth according to the existing filter cell and available installation space.
The 20 or 25 mm flange must be compatible with the existing housing and clamping mechanism.
Select gasket type and position according to the contact surface and airflow direction.
Consider clean-filter initial differential pressure when evaluating fan capacity and energy consumption.
Maintenance and Replacement
Monitor differential pressure across the filter regularly. During periodic maintenance, inspect the aluminum frame, filter media, surface protection, gasket and seating inside the filter housing.
The recommended final pressure drop is approximately twice the clean-filter initial value and should not exceed 600 Pa. Determine replacement intervals by considering differential pressure, air quality, fan energy consumption and process conditions together.
Do not clean the filter media with compressed air, wash it or subject the filter pack to mechanical impact. Remove and dispose of used filters according to facility procedures.
Technical Application Note
The filtration area, nominal airflow and initial pressure-drop values in the table represent standard product data. Actual filter performance can vary depending on installation, filter-cell leakage, test conditions, actual airflow, system pressure, instrument calibration, dust load, relative humidity, temperature, filter loading and airflow distribution. Therefore, individual testing and certification requirements for H13 and H14 filters should be clearly defined before ordering.
