HVAC Model V-Compact Filter
HVAC Model V-Compact Filter is a high-capacity compact air filter. Furthermore, it is used in air handling units and industrial ventilation systems. It captures fine particles, works as second or final stage filtration and protects HEPA filters through pre-filtration.
Glass fibre filter packs are placed in a V shape. Therefore, a large filtration area fits into compact outer dimensions. In addition, the structure combines a polystyrene frame, hot-melt separators and a two-component polyurethane sealing compound. As a result, the range covers HVAC applications with operating air flow rates between 1,700 and 3,400 m³/h.

What Is the HVAC Model V-Compact Filter?
The HVAC Model V-Compact Filter is a fine particle filter with a large surface area. Several mini-pleat filter packs are placed inside a polystyrene frame in V geometry. Consequently, high air flow rates can be handled in standard panel dimensions.
Hot-melt separators protect the pleat spacing of the glass fibre media. Moreover, the joints between the filter packs and the outer frame are sealed with a two-component polyurethane compound. This detail supports circumferential tightness.
The filtration area varies between 7 and 14 m². Therefore, high dust holding capacity and a controlled initial pressure drop can be achieved at suitable air flow rates. In addition, the product is offered in ISO ePM10 75%, ISO ePM1 55%, ISO ePM1 75% and ISO ePM1 80% classes. For the complete range, you can also visit our air filter products page.

Inspection and Maintenance
The filter pressure drop should be monitored regularly. For this purpose, a differential pressure gauge or a pressure transmitter can be used. Moreover, the replacement decision must not be based on operating hours alone. Real pressure drop, air flow rate, dust load and the physical condition of the filter should also be considered.
Glass fibre media must not be cleaned with water or compressed air unless it is defined as washable. Otherwise, unsuitable cleaning can damage the mini-pleat structure, the hot-melt separators, the sealing compound and the polystyrene frame.
