Metal Filter
Metal Filter is a fully metallic, washable prefilter used in ventilation and HVAC systems to capture coarse particles, oil droplets and oil mist.
High-Durability G2 and G3 Coarse Filtration
The filter media consists of layers of expanded metal or woven wire mesh. Aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel material options allow adaptation to different temperature, corrosion and hygiene requirements.
Its robust all-metal construction, washable design and suitability for repeated use make it particularly suitable for kitchen exhaust systems, industrial air intakes and coarse filtration applications requiring high-temperature resistance.

Washable Construction
Metal filter layers can be cleaned using a suitable method and reused.
Up to 200°C
Can be used in high-temperature applications with a suitable metal and frame configuration.
G2 and G3 Classes
Offers ISO Coarse 25% and ISO Coarse 40% coarse filtration options.
25 and 48 mm
Available in two standard depths according to the filter housing and airflow requirement.
What Is a Metal Filter?
A Metal Filter is a coarse air filter manufactured by combining layers of expanded metal or woven wire mesh of different densities and geometries within a metal frame. The multilayer structure helps capture coarse dust, fibers and liquid aerosol particles from the air.
It can be used to capture oil droplets in kitchen ventilation systems, separate coarse particles at industrial air intakes and protect subsequent filtration stages.
Filter selection should consider airflow, face velocity, filter dimensions, ambient temperature, corrosion risk, oil load, required filtration class and allowable pressure drop.
Operating Principle
Contaminated Air Inlet
Air containing coarse dust or oil aerosols is directed toward the filter surface.
Contact with Metal Layers
Air passes through layers of expanded metal or woven wire mesh.
Particle Separation
Coarse particles and oil droplets impact the metal surfaces and are retained.
Filtered Air
Air with reduced coarse contaminants is delivered to the next stage of the system.

Technical Selection and Performance Note
The nominal airflow and initial pressure-drop values shown in the tables are provided for the corresponding product dimensions and reference test conditions.
Actual performance may vary depending on the number of filter layers, metal mesh type, face velocity, product dimensions, installation direction, oil and particle load, temperature and process conditions.
The 200°C operating temperature should only be considered when all selected media and frame materials are suitable for this temperature.
Metal Filter is intended for coarse filtration. Systems requiring fine-particle filtration, HEPA filtration, gas removal or odor control should use suitable additional filtration stages.
