Pass Box Control Systems
Safe Pass-Through Box Solutions for Cleanrooms, Laboratories and Hygienic Production Areas
Pass box control systems are pass-through box solutions used for the controlled transfer of materials, samples, equipment or consumables in cleanrooms and laboratories.
Pass box systems can be manufactured with an electrostatic powder-coated DKP steel body or a stainless-steel housing and designed as active or passive models. Active models can include an H13 / H14 HEPA filter, pressurisation fan, fan filter unit, magnetic lock, magnetic contact, electronic control display and alarm system as standard equipment.

Active / Passive Model
Can be manufactured as an active fan-filtered or passive transfer box according to the application area.
H13 / H14 HEPA Filter
In the active model, ISO 5 cabinet class can be targeted with a high-efficiency HEPA filter and pressurisation fan.
Magnetic Lock System
Provides safe transfer with a magnetic lock and magnetic contact system that prevents opposite doors from opening simultaneously.
What Is a Pass Box?
A pass box is a controlled transfer box used to reduce airflow, particle transfer and cross-contamination risks while transferring materials between a cleanroom and the outside environment or two areas with different cleanliness classes.
Material transfers must be controlled in cleanrooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, food, electronics production and hospital hygiene areas. Pass box systems make these transfers safer, more controlled and more hygienic.
Pass Box Control Systems Operating Principle
Material PlacementThe product to be transferred is placed inside the cabin through the outer pass box door.
Door Locking ControlThe magnetic lock and contact system prevent the two doors from opening at the same time.
HEPA FiltrationIn the active model, the fan filter unit circulates or supplies air passing through an H13 / H14 HEPA filter inside the cabin.
Safe ReceivingAfter the control process is complete, the cleanroom-side door opens and the material is received.
