What Is a Polypropylene (PP) Filter Bag?
A polypropylene filter bag is a chemically resistant filtration medium with a needle-punched polypropylene felt structure. Its lightweight construction, economical use and stable filtration performance make it suitable for various industrial processes.
The PP filter bag is preferred in chemical processes because of its resistance to acids, alkalis and hydrolysis effects. Resistance to bacteria and mold also provides an advantage in processes such as food production and detergent manufacturing.
The heat-welded seam structure provides a more reliable and efficient construction at the bag joint. Options such as grounding wire, wear cuff and expansion ring can be added according to application requirements.
