Polyurethane Filter Mat
Polyurethane Filter Mat is washable and cut-to-size filter media used in ventilation and HVAC equipment to capture coarse dust, fibers, lint and similar large particles.
G2 and G3 Classes with Different Thickness and Roll Size Options
Its open-cell polyurethane structure allows airflow while helping retain coarse particles. In addition, the media is available in G2 and G3 classes with thickness options ranging from 6 mm to 20 mm.
Therefore, the filter mat can be used as prefilter media in air handling units, fan-coil units, ventilation equipment, electrical panels and various industrial systems.

Washable Structure
It can be reused after suitable cleaning and drying procedures.
G2 and G3 Classes
ISO Coarse 25% and ISO Coarse 40% options are available.
Different Thicknesses
The media can be supplied in 6, 8, 10 and 20 mm thicknesses.
Cut-to-Size Media
It can be cut to dimensions suitable for the required filter housing.
What Is Polyurethane Filter Mat?
Polyurethane Filter Mat is open-cell, porous filter media used to mechanically capture coarse particles from the air. As air passes through the pores of the media, larger particles are retained within the material.
Because the media can be supplied without a frame, it can be cut according to different equipment and filter-housing dimensions. If required, it can also be installed in galvanized, aluminum, plastic or stainless steel frames to form a panel filter.
Consequently, filter class, thickness, air velocity and surface area should be selected according to system airflow, allowable pressure drop and the particle load of the operating environment.
Operating Principle
Air Inlet
Contaminated air is directed toward the filter-mat surface by the fan or system pressure.
Coarse Particle Capture
Coarse particles such as dust, fibers and lint are retained within the porous polyurethane structure.
Filtered Air
Air with a reduced coarse-particle load is then transferred to downstream system equipment.
Cleaning and Reuse
Finally, contaminated filter media can be washed using a suitable method, dried and reused.

Technical Selection and Application Note
Polyurethane Filter Mat is designed for coarse-particle filtration. It is not sufficient by itself for applications requiring fine-particle filtration, HEPA filtration, gas removal, odor control or chemical-vapor capture.
Furthermore, excessive compression of the filter mat inside its housing can reduce free airflow area and increase pressure drop.
Actual filter performance and maintenance intervals may vary according to air velocity, filter surface area, cut dimensions, thickness, particle load, operating time and process conditions.
For reference information about current air-filter classification, see the official ISO 16890 standard page.
