Polyurethane ZIG-ZAG Filter
Polyurethane ZIG-ZAG Filter is a washable panel filter used to capture coarse particles in ventilation and HVAC systems. Thanks to its pleated filter surface, it provides a larger effective filtration area within compact dimensions.
G3 Class with ISO Coarse 40% Filtration Performance
The polyurethane filter media is formed into a zig-zag configuration and installed in a galvanized or stainless steel frame. In addition, wire mesh on both sides of the media helps maintain the pleated geometry and improves mechanical strength.
Because the media is washable, the filter can be reused under suitable cleaning and maintenance conditions. Therefore, it is suitable as a prefilter in air handling units, ventilation units, fan-coil systems and industrial air intakes.

Washable Media
The polyurethane filter media can be reused after suitable cleaning and complete drying.
Zig-Zag Structure
The pleated configuration creates a larger effective filtration area than a flat filter medium.
Double-Sided Wire Mesh
Wire mesh on both sides supports the pleats and helps improve the mechanical durability of the filter.
48 and 96 mm Depth
Standard depths of 48 mm or 96 mm can be selected according to the application and airflow.
What Is a Polyurethane ZIG-ZAG Filter?
The Polyurethane ZIG-ZAG Filter is a coarse air filter in which open-cell polyurethane media is formed into pleats and fixed inside a metal frame. The pleated geometry increases the filtration area within the same face dimensions and distributes airflow over a wider media surface.
Moreover, wire mesh installed on both sides limits deformation of the pleats during airflow and maintenance. Galvanized or stainless steel frame options also allow adaptation to different operating environments.
For correct selection, nominal airflow, filter dimensions, filtration area, allowable pressure drop, particle load and maintenance interval should be evaluated together.
Operating Principle
Air Inlet
Air containing particles reaches the filter surface through the pressure difference created by the system fan.
Surface Distribution
Next, the zig-zag pleats distribute airflow over a larger polyurethane media surface.
Particle Capture
Coarse dust, fibers and similar particles are retained within the porous polyurethane filter structure.
Clean Air Passage
Finally, air with a reduced coarse-particle load is directed to the next equipment in the system.

Technical Selection and Performance Note
The airflow and initial pressure-drop values in the tables apply to the stated reference product dimensions and test conditions. Therefore, actual values may vary according to the application.
In addition, actual filter performance depends on filter dimensions, pleat geometry, air velocity, filtration area, installation direction, gasket application, particle load and process conditions.
The Polyurethane ZIG-ZAG Filter is intended for coarse prefiltration. Systems requiring fine-particle filtration, HEPA filtration, gas removal or odor control should use suitable additional filtration stages.
For reference information about current air-filter classification, see the official ISO 16890 standard page.
