Rotary Filters
Rotary Filters are industrial filtration systems that continuously collect dust and fibers retained on a special filter fabric stretched over a rotating drum.
The system consists of a rotary filter drum, automatic travelling suction hood, PVC suction nozzles, pneumatic conveying pipes, high-pressure dust extraction fan, dust collection system and nylon dust collection bags.

Dust and Fiber Collection

What Is a Rotary Filter?
Rotary Filters are continuously operating dust collection systems that filter dust- and fiber-laden process air through a special filter element stretched over a rotating drum. Dust and fibers retained on the filter fabric are continuously removed by an automatic travelling suction system.
The rotary filter body is formed by assembling modules manufactured from perforated sheet metal and specially formed U-profiles into a cylindrical structure. The drum is supported by shafts at both ends and two sealed industrial-type bearings.
The filtration system operates together with automatic suction nozzles, a horizontal drive mechanism, PVC pneumatic conveying pipes, a high-pressure radial suction fan and dust collection bags.

Advantages of Rotary Filters
Applications of Rotary Filters
Rotary Filter Selection Criteria
- Characteristics of the dust and fibers to be collected
- Airflow and required filter surface area
- Drum diameter and number of modules
- Filter fabric type and required permeability
- Preference for differential-pressure- or time-based control
- Dust collection fan capacity and pressure requirement
- Installation area and maintenance access
- Dust collection bag capacity and emptying interval
Before final Rotary Filters selection, dust and fiber characteristics, process airflow, operating duration, installation area, maintenance access, filter fabric selection and automation requirements should be evaluated together.
Rotary Filter Selection for Your Application
For the correct Rotary Filters selection, Airtes evaluates dust and fiber characteristics, airflow, drum diameter, module quantity, filter fabric, automatic control type, fan capacity and installation area.
